I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 62 (2) of the Health Services Act

1997, make the following Order.

Explanatory note

The object of this Order is to amend Schedule 3 (Affiliated health organisations) to the Health Services Act
1997:

(a)

to omit Mercy Health: Albury as a recognised service under the control of Mercy Health Service Albury Limited, and

(b)

to insert Mercy Health Service Albury as a recognised service under the control of Mercy Hospitals NSW Ltd (formerly known as Mercy Care Centre, Young), and

(c)

to update the name of the organisation that controls Mercy Care Centre: Young, being Mercy Hospitals NSW Ltd (formerly known as Mercy Care Centre, Young).

This Order is made under section 62 (2) of the Health Services Act 1997.

1      Name of Order

This Order is the Health Services Amendment (Mercy Hospitals NSW Ltd) Order
2018.

2      Commencement

This Order commences on 1 July 2018 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.

Schedule 3 Affiliated health organisations

Omit the matter relating to Mercy Care Centre, Young and Mercy Health Service

Albury Limited.

Insert instead:

Mercy Hospitals NSW Ltd Mercy Care Centre: Young, excluding Mount St Joseph’s
Nursing Home.
Mercy Health Service Albury.
