Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Health Services Act 1997.

Explanatory note
Schedule 1 to the Health Services Act 1997 (as amended by the Health Services Amendment (Local Health Network Areas) Order 2011) provides for the areas of the Western NSW Local Health Network and Murrumbidgee Local Health Network to each include a part of the local government area of Lachlan. The Schedule (as amended) also provides for the areas of the Hunter New England Local Health Network and Northern NSW Local Health Network to each include a part of the local government area of Tenterfield.
The object of this Regulation is to describe the parts of these local government areas that will and 140 (the general regulation-making power).

1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Health Services Amendment (Local Health
Network Areas) Regulation 2011.
2 Commencement
This Regulation commences on 4 March 2011 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.

[1] Clause 12 Local health network descriptions
Insert after clause 12 (2):
(2A) A reference in Column 2 of Schedule 1 to the Act to Lachlan (part), in relation to the Western NSW Local Health Network, is a reference to the local government area of Lachlan except for the following 2011 Statistical Areas:
(a) Statistical Area Level 1 (SAl) 10302106209, (b) Statistical Area Level 1 (SAl) 10302106210, (c) Statistical Area Level 1 (SAl) 10302106211, (d) Statistical Area Level 1 (SAl) 10302106212, (e) Statistical Area Level 1 (SAl) 10302106213, (f) Statistical Area Level 1 (SAl) 10302106215, (g) Statistical Area Level 1 (SAl) 10302106225.

Insert after the definition of Statistical Local Area:
2011 Statistical Area means a Statistical Area specified in the Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS), published by the Australian Bureau of Statistics in December 2010 for use in the collection and dissemination of geographically classified statistics from 1 July 2011.
