Proclamation

GORDON SAMUELS, Governor I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of clause 44A (4) of Schedule 7 to the Health Services Act 1997, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 30th June 2000 as the date for the purposes of that subclause.

Signed and sealed at Sydney, this 28th day of June 2000.

By His Excellency’s Command,

Minister for Health

GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!

Explanatory note

Clause 44 of Schedule 7 to the Health Services Act 1997 saves certain determinations made in relation to visiting medical officers under the repealed Public Hospitals Act 1929 and provides for those determinations to be applied under the 1997 Act to visiting medical officers providing services as individuals. The clause also extends the application of those determinations, from a date to be appointed by proclamation, to visiting medical officers who provide their services through a practice company. The object of this proclamation is to appoint that date.
