I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 62 (2) (c) of the Health Services Act 1997, make the following Order.

Explanatory note

The object of this Order is to amend Schedule 3 to the Health Services Act 1997 to remove the NSW Blood Transfusion Service from the list of establishments and services controlled by the Australian Red Cross Society. Schedule 3 lists the organisations that are ‘‘affiliated health organisations’’ under the Act, and the establishments and services controlled by these organisations.

This Order is made under section 62 (2) (c) of the Act.

1 Name of Order

This Order is the Health Services (NSW Blood Transfusion

Service) Order 1999.

2 Commencement

This Order commences on 1 July 1999.

3 Amendment of Schedule 3 to Health Services Act 1997

Schedule 3 to the Health Services Act 1997 is amended by omitting ‘‘The NSW Blood Transfusion Service’’ from Column 2.
