Health Regulations Amendment (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2025

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

Part 1Preliminary1.Citation

These regulations are the Health Regulations Amendment (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2025.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

  • (a)

    Part 1 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;

  • (b)

    the rest of the regulations — on 1 July 2025.

Part 4Health Services (Conduct and Traffic) Regulations 2016 amended7.Regulations amended

This Part amends the Health Services (Conduct and Traffic) Regulations 2016.

8.Schedule 1 clause 4 amended

In Schedule 1 clause 4 in the Table delete “$4.20 per day, up to a maximum of $21.00” and insert:

$4.30 per day, up to a maximum of $21.50

The fees for the health service provider site that is Fremantle Hospital are the fees set out in the Table.

24.Regulations 25 and 26 replaced

Delete regulations 25 and 26 and insert:

25. Fees to be paid on application for issue of licence

  • (1)

    The application fee to be paid for the purposes of section 37(1)(c)(iii) is —

    • (a)

      $88.00 for a retailer’s licence; and

    • (b)

      $88.00 for an indirect seller’s licence; and

    • (c)

      $213.00 for a wholesaler’s licence.

  • (2)

    The licence fee to be paid for the purposes of section 37(1)(c)(iii) is —

    • (a)

      $250.00 for a retailer’s licence; and

    • (b)

      $250.00 for an indirect seller’s licence; and

    • (c)

      $609.00 for a wholesaler’s licence.

26. Fees to be paid on application for renewal of licence

The licence fee to be paid for the purposes of section 38(1)(c)(ii) is —

  • (a)

    $287.00 for a retailer’s licence; and

  • (b)

    $287.00 for an indirect seller’s licence; and

  • (c)

    $678.00 for a wholesaler’s licence.
