Health Regulations Amendment (Cervical

Screening Register) Regulations 2018

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

Part 1 — Preliminary

1.   Citation

These regulations are the Health Regulations Amendment (Cervical Screening Register) Regulations 2018.
2.	Commencement These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	Part 1 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

In the heading to Part 2 delete 'Cytology and insert:

Screening 

Part 2 — Health (Cervical Screening Register)
Regulations 1991 amended

3. Regulations amended

This Part amends the Health (Cervical Screening Register)
Regulations 1991.

4.           Part 2 heading amended

5.      Regulation 5 amended

Delete regulation 5(2)(a)(i) and insert:

(i) was deleted by the Health Regulations
Amendment (Cervical Screening

forwarded under regulation 9 (before it regulation 7); or

6. Regulation 7 amended
After regulation 7(1)(c) insert:

(Ca) for the purpose of including the information in

the National Cancer Screening Register
established under the National Cancer
Screening Register Act 2016 (Commonwealth)
section 9; or

7.     Regulations 8 and 9 deleted Delete regulations 8 and 9.

8.      Regulation 10A amended

In regulation 10A(2)(a) delete "forwarded to the CEO under regulation 9(1); and" and insert:

forwarded under regulation 9 (before it was deleted by the
Health Regulations Amendment (Cervical Screening Register)
Regulations 2018 regulation 7); and

Part 3 - Health (Western Australian Cancer Register)

Regulations 2011 amended

9.     Regulations amended

This Part amends the Health (Western Australian Cancer Register) Regulations 2011.
10.	Regulation 12 amended Delete regulation 12(1)(b).
