Health (Radiation Safety) (Fees) Regulations 1996

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to increase the fees for the registration of certain radiation apparatus and sealed radioactive sources and the licences to operate them.

2. Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 108AJ of the Health Act 1958.

3. Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 July

1996.

4. Principal Regulations

In these Regulations the 1Health (Radiation
Safety) Regulations 1994 are called the Principal

Regulations.

5. Licence fees

Health (Radiation Safety) (Fees) Regulations 1996

In regulation 13 of the Principal Regulations—

(a)	in sub-regulation (1), for "$95" substitute "$99"; and
(b)	in sub-regulation (2), for "$305" substitute "$320".

6. Registration fees

In regulation 17 of the Principal Regulations, in the table—

(a) in column 3—

(i)  for "$100" (where twice occurring) substitute "$105"; and

(ii)  for "$250" (where twice occurring) substitute "$260"; and

(iii)  for "$500" (where twice occurring) substitute "$525"; and

(iv) for "$45" substitute "$47"; and

(b) in column 4—

(i)  for "$50" (where twice occurring) substitute "$52"; and

(ii)  for "$125" (where twice occurring) substitute "$130"; and

(iii)  for "$250" (where twice occurring) substitute "$260"; and

(iv) for "$23" substitute "$24".
