Health Practitioners (Special Events Exemption) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2008 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Health Practitioners (Special Events Exemption) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2008 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the HealthPractitioners(SpecialEvents Exemption) Regulation 1998. 3 Replacement of s 2 (Declaration of 2007 Lexmark Indy 300 as special event) Section 2— omit, insert — ‘2 Declaration of Rugby League World Cup 2008 as special event ‘(1) The event known as ‘Rugby League World Cup 2008’ is declared to be a special event for the Act. ‘(2) The exemption under the Act for the event has effect for the period starting at midday on Monday 13 October 2008 and ending at midday on Monday 24 November 2008. ‘3 Declaration of Nikon Indy 300 as special event ‘(1) The event known as ‘Nikon Indy 300’ is declared to be a special event for the Act. ‘(2) The exemption under the Act for the event has effect for the period starting at midday on Wednesday 22 October 2008 and ending at midday on Monday 27 October 2008.’.
