After section 2— inser — t ˙ ‘ Declaration of XI Paralympic Games as special event ‘ 3.(1) The event known as ‘XI Paralympic Games’ is declared to be a special event for the Act. ‘ (2) The exemption under the Act for the event has effect for the period starting on the day this section commences and ending on 29 October 2000.’.
