Health (Pest Control) (Qualifications and Training) Regulations 2007

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objectives

The objectives of these Regulations are to amend the Health (Pest Control) Regulations 2002—

(a)to correct the prescribed qualifications; and

(b)to update the prescribed courses of training for the licensing of users of pesticides.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 108H of the Health Act 1958.

3Approved courses and qualifications

In Schedule 2 to the Health (Pest Control) Regulations 2002[1], in Part 2, for "RT2126A" substitute "RTD2126A".

4Courses of training

In Schedule 3 to the Health (Pest Control) Regulations 2002, for—

"Pest Animal Management Course Unit of the Diploma of Applied Science (Natural Resource Management) (conducted by a registered education and training organisation)."

"Units RTD2101A, RTD2126A, RTD4403A and RTE3406A of Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management conducted by a registered education and training organisation.".
