HEALTH LEGISLATION (MISCELLANEOUS AMENDMENTS)
ACT 1994 NO. 19—PROCLAMATION

A. M. Gleeson the Governor.I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Health Legislation (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 1994, do, by this my Proclamation:
(a)
appoint 1 July 1994 as the day on which Schedule 3 to that Act, and section 4 in its application to that Schedule, commence;
(b)
appoint 1 September 1994 as the day on which item (1) of the amendments to the Psychologists Act 1989 in Schedule 5 to that Act, and section 4 in its application to that item, commence;
(c)
appoint 1 July 1994 as the day on which the other provisions of that Act (except Schedule 2, and section 3 in its application to that Schedule) commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this Proclamation i s to commence most of the Health Legislation (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 1994 on 3 separate dates. The part of that Act not commenced by this Proclamation contains amendments to the Public Health Act 1991 relating to the notification of cervical cytology and other test results.
