s1 3 s3 Health Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 6) No. 247, 2005 2005 Part 1 Preliminary 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Health Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 6) 2005 . Part 2 Amendment of Dental Technicians and Dental Prosthetists Registration Regulation 2002 2 Regulation amended in pt 2 This part amends the DentalTechniciansandDentalProsthetists Registration Regulation 2002. 3 Amendment of sch 1 (Qualifications for general registration) (1) Schedule 1, part 1, before entry for Diploma of Dental Health Work (Dental Technology), South Bank Institute of TAFE— insert— ‘Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Technology Griffith University’. (2) Schedule 1, part 2, before entry for Advanced Diploma of Dental Prosthetics, Sydney Institute of Technology— insert— ‘Master of Dental Technology in Prosthetics Griffith University’.
s4 4 s7 Health Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 6) No. 247, 2005 2005 Part 3 Amendment of Health Practitioners (Special Events Exemption) Regulation 1998 4 Regulation amended in pt 3 This part amends the HealthPractitioners(SpecialEventsExemption) Regulation 1998. 5 Replacement of s 2 (Declaration of Lexmark Indy 300 as special event) Section 2— omit, insert— ‘2 Declaration of Lexmark Indy 300 as special event ‘(1) The event known as ‘Lexmark Indy 300’ is declared to be a special event for the Act. ‘(2) The exemption under the Act for the event has effect for the period starting on 19 October 2005 and ending on 24 October 2005.’. Part 4 Amendment of Health Regulation 1996 6 Regulation amended in pt 4 This part amends the Health Regulation 1996. 7 Amendment of s 142 (Use or conduct of premises) Section 142(a), ‘Standard Sewerage Law,’— omit, insert— ‘ Standard Plumbing and Drainage Regulation 2003 ,’.

s 12 6 s 15 Health Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 6) No. 247, 2005 2005 12 Amendment of sch 1 (Qualifications for general registration) Schedule 1, after entry for Master of Clinical Occupational Therapy, University of Queensland— insert— ‘Master of Occupational Therapy Studies University of Queensland’. Part 6 Amendment of Radiation Safety Regulation 1999 13 Regulation amended in pt 6 This part amends the Radiation Safety Regulation 1999. 14 Amendment of s 9 (Certain possession, use or transport licences—Act, s 75(3) and (4)) Section 9(1)(c)— omit, insert— ‘ (c) a possession licence to possess or a use licence to use an ionising radiation source for conducting health-related research on persons is subject to the condition that the holder of the licence comply with the document entitled ‘Code of Practice for the Exposure of Humans to Ionizing Radiation for Research Purposes (2005)’ prepared by ARPANSA; and’. 15 Omission of s 33 (Radiation dose limits applying for persons voluntarily participating in health-related research—Act, ss 42(2), 127(1)(b), 132(4)(b) and 133(2)(c)) Section 33— omit.
