Health Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2015 Part 1 Preliminary [s 1] Part 1 Preliminary 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Health Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2015 . 2 Commencement This regulation commences on 1 September 2015. Part 2 Amendment of Public Health Regulation 2005 3 Regulation amended This part amends the Public Health Regulation 2005. 4 Insertion of new s 20A Part 7— insert — 20A Prescribed training for indemnity conditions—Act, s 454G (1) The prescribed training for section 454G of the Act is training that— (a) is approved by the chief health officer under subsection (2); and (b) includes information about the following— (i) the regulatory environment for control of asbestos risks in Queensland; (ii) asbestos products and likely uses in domestic settings; Page 2 2015 SL No. 96

(2) For the purpose of approving training under subsection (1)(a), the chief health officer may have regard to any relevant matter including— (a) the content and quality of the curriculum, including its relevance to the powers and functions of an authorised person; and (b) the qualifications, knowledge and experience of the person who is to provide the training. Part 3 Amendment of Transplantation and Anatomy Regulation 2004 5 Regulation amended This part amends the TransplantationandAnatomyRegulation 2004 . 6 Insertion of new s 12A After section 12— insert— 12A Exempt entity—Act, s 42AB For section 42AB(2) of the Act, definition exempt entity , paragraph (b)(ii), the Australian Bone Marrow Donor Registry ABN 38 096 625 231 is prescribed. 2015 SL No. 96 Page 3
