Health Legislation Amendment Act (No 3) 2018 No 73

I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (3) of the Health Legislation

Amendment Act (No 3) 2018, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 February 2019 as the day on

which Schedules 3 [1] and [2] and 4 [3] to that Act commence.

Explanatory note
The object of this Proclamation is to commence certain amendments to the Health Practitioner Regulation
(Adoption of National Law) Act 2009 and the Health Services Act 1997 relating to the mandatory
notification of matters relating to the conduct, health and criminal convictions of registered health
practitioners, including satisfying dual requirements to notify the same conduct.
