Health Insurance (Variation of Fees and Medical Services) (No. 43) Regulations

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Health Insurance Act 1973.

Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Health Insurance (Variation of Fees and Medical Services) (No. 43) Regulations.

Commencement

2. These regulations shall come into operation on 1 October 1986.

Repeal

3. Statutory Rules 1985 Nos. 149, 229 and 356 and 1986 Nos. 156 and 195 are repealed.

General medical services table

4. The table of medical services, including rules of interpretation of that table, in the Schedule to the Health Insurance (Variation of Fees and Medical Services) (No. 37) Regulations, being that Schedule—

(a) as amended by—

(i) the Health Insurance (Variation of Fees and Medical Services) (No. 39) Regulations;

(ii) the Health Insurance (Variation of Fees and Medical Services) (No. 40) Regulations;

(iii) the Health Insurance (Variation of Fees and Medical Services) (No. 41) Regulations; and

(iv) the Health Insurance (Variation of Fees and Medical Services) (No. 42) Regulations; and

(b) as in force on 30 September 1986,

is prescribed for the purposes of sub-section 4 (2) of the Health Insurance Act 1973.
