Health Insurance Regulations (Amendment) (Cth)

THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice
of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under
the

Minister of State for Health
Regulation 9b of the Health Insurance Regulations is amended by adding at the end thereof the following sub-regulations:
“(2) For the purposes of paragraph 130 (3) (b) of the Act, each of the following persons is a prescribed person:
(a) a person who, for the time being, is a member of the investigating committee constituted under section 27a of the State Act;
(b) a person who, for the time being, is a member of the disciplinary tribunal constituted under section 28 of the State Act;
(c) a person who, for the time being, is a member of the Medical Practitioners Charges Committee constituted under section 34 of the State Act.
“(3) In this regulation, “State Act” means the Medical Practitioners Act, 1938 of the State of New South Wales or that Act as amended and in force from time to time.”.
