Health Insurance Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Health Insurance Act 1973.

Prescribed authorities for the purposes of paragraph 130 (3) (b) of the Act

Regulation 9b of the Health Insurance Regulations is amended by inserting after sub-regulation (2) the following sub-regulation:

“(2a) For the purposes of paragraph 130 (3) (b) of the Act, the Secretary of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs is a prescribed person.”.
