Health Insurance Regulations (Amendment) (Cth)
REGULATION UNDER THE HEALTH INSURANCE ACT 1973.*
WHEREAS
it is provided by sub-section 82 (2) of the
AND WHEREAS the Australian Medical Association has recommended to the Minister that certain professional services be prescribed for the purposes of that paragraph:
NOW THEREFORE I, the
Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of
the Federal Executive Council and after taking into consideration that
recommendation made to the Minister by the Australian Medical Association,
hereby make the following Regulation under the

Amendment of the Health Insurance Regulations
After regulation 9 of the Health Insurance Regulations the following regulation is inserted:—
“ 9aa. Each professional service referred to in paragraph (a) of the definition of ‘ professional service ’ in sub-section 3 (1) of the Act (other than such a professional service when rendered to an eligible pensioner or to a dependant of an eligible pensioner) is prescribed for the purposes of paragraph 82 (1) (b) of the Act.”.
