 These Regulations are the Health Insurance (Pathology Services Table) Amendment Regulations 2003 (No. 3).

2Commencement

 These Regulations commence on 8 December 2003.

3Amendment of Health Insurance (Pathology Services Table) Regulations 2003

Schedule 1 amends the Health Insurance (Pathology Services Table) Regulations2003.

Quantitation of HCV RNA load in plasma or serum in the pretreatment evaluation or the assessment of efficacy of antiviral therapy of a patient with chronic HCV hepatitis — where the test is requested by or on the advice of the specialist or consultant physician who manages the treatment of the patient with chronic HCV hepatitis (including a service in item 69444 or 69445) — not more than 2 tests in a 12 month period
