These Regulations are the
Health Insurance (General Medical Services Table) Amendment Regulations 2004 (No. 5) .
These Regulations commence on 1 July 2004.
3 Amendment of Health Insurance (General Medical Services Table) Regulations 2003 Schedule 1 amends the
Health Insurance (General Medical Services Table) Regulations 2003 .
(regulation 3)
substitute
(a) a medical practitioner (including an overseas trained practitioner or a temporary resident medical practitioner) who:
(i) is registered as a medical practitioner under the Rural Other Medical Practitioners’ Program; and
(ii) is providing general medical services in accordance with that Program; or
omit provided to patients in rural and remote areas,
insert provided in accordance with the Program,
