I, NICOLA ROXON, Minister for Health and Ageing, make this Determination under subsection 3C (1) of the Health Insurance Act 1973.

1. Name of Determination

This Determination is the Health Insurance (Dental Services) Amendment and Repeal Determination  2008.

1. Commencement

This Determination commences as follows:

(a)     on 31 March 2008 — sections 1 to 3 and Schedule 1;

(b)     on 1 July 2008 — section 4.

1. Amendment of Health Insurance (Dental Services) Determination 2007

Schedule 1 amends the Health Insurance (Dental Services) Determination 2007.

1. Repeal of Health Insurance (Dental Services) Determination 2007

The Health Insurance (Dental Services) Determination 2007 is repealed.

Schedule 1        Amendment

(section 3)

[1]           Paragraph 6 (d)

substitute

(d)    the person is not an admitted patient of a hospital; and

(e)    the person received a dental service to which an item in Schedule 1 applied before 31 March 2008.
