THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice
of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under
the

“ ‘Repatriation Commission’ means the Repatriation Commission continued in existence by section 179 of the
Veterans ’ Entitlements Act 1986 ;”.

(a) by omitting subregulation (1);
(b) by omitting from subregulation (2) “Part IV of the Repatriation Regulations and”;
(c) by inserting in subregulation (2) “and Part V of the
Veterans ’ Entitlements Act 1986 ”after “Allowances Regulations”.
(a) to affect the rights of a person (other than the Commonwealth or an authority of the Commonwealth) existing at the commencement of these Regulations in a manner prejudicial to that person; or
(b) to impose liabilities on any person (other than the Commonwealth or an authority of the Commonwealth) in respect of anything done or omitted to be done before the commencement of these Regulations.
