Name of Regulations
These Regulations are the Health Insurance Amendment Regulations 2008 (No. 1).

Commencement
These Regulations commence on 1 July 2008.

Amendment of Health Insurance Regulations 1975
Schedule 1 amends the Health Insurance Regulations 1975.
Schedule 1 Amendments
(regulation 3)
[1] After regulation 12A

12AAPrescribed diagnostic imaging services — subsection 16EA (2) of the Act
For subsection 16EA (2) of the Act, services described in the following items in the diagnostic imaging services table are prescribed:
(a)each item in subgroup 2 of Group I1;
(b)each item in subgroup 5 of Group I1;
(c)items 59903–59925 (inclusive);
(d)items 59971–59973 (inclusive);
(e)each item in subgroup 16 of Group I3;
(f)each item in Group I4.

(2)For subsections 23DZZIAB (1) and (2) of the Act, the following information is to be included on the register:
(a)the name of the approved accreditor;
(b)the commencement date for the accreditation;
(c)the diagnostic imaging procedures for which the premises are, or base is, accredited or not accredited;
(d)the expiry date for the accreditation.
