  1. Name of Regulations

These Regulations are the Health Insurance Amendment Regulations 2005 (No. 1).

  1. Commencement

These Regulations commence, or are taken to have commenced, as follows:

(a)on 30 April 1997 — regulations 1 and 2, subregulation 3 (1) and Schedule 1;

(b)on 31 May 1997 — subregulation 3 (2) and Schedule 2;

(c)on 23 October 1998 — subregulation 4 (1) and Schedule 3;

(d)on 27 October 1998 — subregulation 4 (2) and Schedule 4;

(e)on 21 December 2000 — subregulation 4 (3) and Schedule 5;

(f)on 22 February 2002 — subregulation 4 (4) and Schedule 6;

(g)on the date on which these Regulations are registered— subregulation 4 (5) and Schedule 7.

  1. Amendment of Health Insurance Regulations

(1)Schedule 1 amends the Health Insurance Regulations as in force immediately before 30 April 1997.

(2)Schedule 2 amends the Health Insurance Regulations as in force immediately before 31 May 1997.

  1. Amendment of Health Insurance Regulations 1975

(1)Schedule 3 amends the Health Insurance Regulations 1975 as in force immediately before 23 October 1998.

(2)Schedule 4 amends the Health Insurance Regulations 1975 as in force immediately before 27 October 1998.

(3)Schedule 5 amends the Health Insurance Regulations 1975 as in force immediately before 21 December 2000.

(4)Schedule 6 amends the Health Insurance Regulations 1975 as in force immediately before 22 February 2002.

(5)Schedule 7 amends the Health Insurance Regulations 1975.
