I, QUENTIN BRYCE, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and under item 2 of the table in subsection 2 (1) of the Health Insurance Amendment (Extended Medicare Safety Net) Act 2012, fix 12 October 2012 as the day on which items 1 and 2 of Schedule 1 to that Act commence.
