Regulations under the

1.1 The Health Insurance (1997-98 General Medical Services Table) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

2.1 Part 2—Services and fees:
In each of the following Group A2 items, omit “by a medical practitioner (not being a general practitioner)”, substitute “by a medical practitioner (not being a general practitioner other than a general practitioner who is disqualified from providing services mentioned in Group A1)”:
Group A2 Item:
52, 53, 54, 57, 58, 59, 60, 65, 81, 83, 84, 86, 87, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, 95, 96, 97, 98.
2.2 Part 2—Services and fees (Group A11—Unsociable hours):
Item 697:
Omit “by a medical practitioner (not being a general practitioner)”, substitute “by a medical practitioner (not being a general practitioner other than a general practitioner who is disqualified from providing services mentioned in item 601)”.
2.3 Part 2—Services and fees (Group A11—Unsociable hours):
Item 698:
Omit “by a medical practitioner (not being a general practitioner)”, substitute “by a medical practitioner (not being a general practitioner other than a general practitioner who is disqualified from providing services mentioned in item 602)”.
