I, WILLIAM PATRICK DEANE, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Health Insurance Act 1973.

1.   Name of regulations

1.1   These regulations are the Health Insurance (1997-1998 General Medical Services Table) Amendment Regulations 1998 (No. 2).

2.   Commencement

2.1   These regulations commence on 1 September 1998.

3.   Amendment

3.1   The Health Insurance (1997-1998 General Medical Services Table) Regulations are amended as set out in these regulations.

4.   Schedule (Table of General Medical Services)

4.1   Part 1, rule 15:

Omit the rule.

4.2   Part 2, item 18013:

Omit “provided at prescribed locations”, substitute “mentioned in Group I5 of the diagnostic imaging services table”.
