Centres) Regulations 1998

The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's Deputy with the
advice of the Executive Council makes the following
Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the
definition of "Children's Services Centre" in the
Health (Infectious Diseases) Regulations 1990 as
a consequence of the enactment of the Children's

Services Act 1996.

2. Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 146,

390(1) and 391 of the Health Act 1958.

3. Definition substituted

In regulation 4 of the Health (Infectious Diseases)
Regulations 19901, for the definition of
"Children's Services Centre" substitute—

Health (Infectious Diseases) (Children's Services Centres)

Regulations 1998 S.R. No. 57/1998

' "Children's Services Centre" means any

premises or place where a children's service
within the meaning of the Children's

Services Act 1996 operates;'.
