2.            The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Health (Food
Hygiene) Regulations 1993*•

3.            Regulation 3 amended

Regulation 3(1) is amended by inserting the following definition in the appropriate alphabetical position -

"Advisory Committee" means the Food Advisory

Committee referred to in section 246H of the Act;

4. Regulation 66 inserted
After regulation 65 the following regulation is inserted -

33  

66.          Advisory Committee Attendance Fees

(1) The Chairman of the Advisory Committee, or, in his or

her absence, the deputy chairman, is to be paid -

(a)	$330 for a full day's attendance (4 hours or longer); or
(b)	$220 for a half-day's attendance (less than 4 hours).

(2) Each other member or deputy member of the Advisory

Committee is to be paid -

(a) $220 for a full day's attendance (4 hours or

longer); or

(b) $150 for a half-day's attendance (less than 4 hours).

(3) However, an attendance fee is not payable to a member

of the Advisory Committee who is -

(a)	an employee as defined in the Public Sector Management Act 1994; or
(b)	an employee of a department of State or other agency of the Government of the Commonwealth.
