(Amendment)

I, JAMES JOSEPH CARLTON, the Minister of State for Health, hereby make the following Regulations under the Health Commission Ordinance 1975.

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 4 November 1982.

Fees for pathology services
2. Regulation 6B of the Health Commission (Charges) Regulations is amended by omitting paragraph (3) (g) and substituting the following paragraph:

"(g) a pathology service provided by the Commission in relation to the

treatment, by the Commission, of addiction to alcohol or a drug.".

Prescribed classes of persons for the purposes of sub-section 74 (3) of the

Ordinance

3. Regulation 9 of the Health Commission (Charges) Regulations is

subscription scheme conducted by the Commission; or

amended—

(a)	by omitting paragraphs (2) (a) and (ab) and substituting the following paragraph:
"(a) persons who are conveyed to or from a hospital by means of an ambulance service and who are^-

(i) eligible pensioners;
(ii) disadvantaged persons;

(iii)   persons who are students at a school for whom the need for an ambulance service occurred while in attendance at a school or while travelling to or from a school;

(iv)    persons who are financial members of the ambulance

(v)   dependants of the persons referred to in sub­ paragraphs (i), (ii) or (iv),

other than persons who, in the opinion of the Chief Medical Administrator of the hospital, have, or may have, a right to recover from another person, by way of compensation or damages, the cost of the service;"; and

(b) by omitting paragraphs (2) (d) and (e).

4. The Health Commission (Charges) Regulations are amended as set out

in the following table:
