Act N o . 132 , 1980.

An Act to amend section 18 of the Health Commission Act, 1972, in relation to the decontamination of radioactive land or premises. [Assented to, 9th December, 1980.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1. This Act may be cited as the "Health Commission

(Amendment) Act, 1980".

2. The Health Commission Act, 1972, is amended—

(a)	by omitting from section 18 (1) (m) the word "and" where lastly occurring;
(b)	by inserting after section 18 (1) (m) the following paragraph :—

(ma) to undertake and facilitate the decontamination, or the removal and disposal, of land or premises contaminated by radioactivity and for those purposes to acquire, under section 19, any such land, or the land on which any such premises are situated; and
