HEALTH COMMISSION (AMENDMENT) ACT,

1977

Act No. 131, 1977.

An Act to amend section 23 of the Health Commission Act, 1972, so that certain offices under that Act are deemed not to be offices or places of profit under the Crown. [Assented to, 14th December, 1977.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1. This Act may be cited as the "Health Commission

(Amendment) Act, 1977".

2. The Health Commission Act, 1972, is amended by

inserting after section 23 (8) the following subsection :—

(9) The office of a member of a council, committee or advisory body appointed under subsection (1) or (4) shall, for the purposes of any Act, be deemed not to be an office or place of profit under the Crown.
