s1 2 s6 Health Amendment (No. 4) No. 257, 1999 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Health Amendment Regulation (No. 4) 1999 . ˙ Commencement 2. This regulation commences on 31 December 1999. ˙ Regulation amended 3. This regulation amends the Health Regulation 1996 . ˙ Omission of pt 2 (Camping grounds) 4. Part 2— omit. ˙ Insertion of new pt 19, div 1 hdg 5. Part 19, before section 424— insert— ‘ Division 1—Repeals for Subordinate Legislation 1996 No. 121 ’. ˙ Insertion of new pt 19, div 2 6. Part 19, after section 424— insert— ‘ Division 2—Transitional provisions for Health Amendment Regulation (No. 4) 1999 ˙ ‘ Transitional provisions for offences against repealed part ‘ 425.(1) Proceedings for an offence against the repealed part may be started or continued, and the provisions of the repealed part and the HealthAct1937 that are necessary or convenient to be used in relation to the proceedings continue to apply, as if the Health Amendment Regulation

s6 3 s6 Health Amendment (No. 4) No. 257, 1999 (No. 4) 1999 had not commenced. ‘ (2) For subsection(1), the ActsInterpretationAct1954 , section 20 1 applies, but does not limit the subsection. ‘ (3) In this section— “repealed part” means the Health Regulation 1996 , part 2, 2 as in force from time to time before its repeal by the Health Amendment Regulation (No. 4) 1999 .’.
