s1 2 s4 Health Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2002 No. 195, 2002 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Health Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2002 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Health Regulation 1996. 3 Amendment of s 153 (Definitions) Section 153— insert— ‘ “workplace amenity” see the WorkplaceHealthandSafety(Miscellaneous) Regulation 1995 , section 52. 1 ’. 4 Amendment of s 170 (Specifications for places) (1) Section 170(2), ‘that place is at all times’— omit, insert— ‘the place’. (2) Section 170(2)(a) to (e) and (g)— omit. (3) Section 170(2)(f), before ‘constructed’— insert— ‘is’. (4) Section 170(2)(f), ‘the part 17;’— omit, insert— ‘part 17; and’. (5) Section 170(2)(h), from ‘provided’ to ‘sewerage and drainage’— omit, insert— 1 WorkplaceHealthandSafety(Miscellaneous)Regulation1995, section 52 (Definitions)

(7) Section 170(2)(f) and (h)— renumber as section 170(2)(a) and (b). (8) Section 170(2), after paragraph (b) as renumbered— insert— ‘(c) if the occupier is an entity to whom section 53(1) 2 of the WorkplaceHealthandSafety(Miscellaneous)Regulation1995 does not apply—has each workplace amenity stated in schedule 7 3 of that regulation . ’. 5 Amendment of sch 2 (Notifiable and controlled notifiable diseases) (1) Schedule 2, part 2, ‘syphilis, other than congenital syphilis’— omit . (2) Schedule 2, part 2— insert— ‘chlamydia trachomatis infection (genital) chlamydia trachomatis infection (non-genital) hepatitis A hepatitis B (chronic) hepatitis B (not otherwise specified) hepatitis C 2 Workplace Health and Safety (Miscellaneous) Regulation 1995, section 53(1)— 53 Employer’s duty for workplace amenities (1) An employer must ensure that the employer’s workplace has each workplace amenity. Maximum penalty—20 penalty units. 3 WorkplaceHealthandSafety(Miscellaneous)Regulation1995 , schedule 7 (Workplace amenities (for workplaces other than construction workplaces))
