Health Administration Amendment

(Reportable Incident) Regulation 2006

under the

Health Administration Act 1982

Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Health Administration Act 1982.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to alter a reference in the Health Administration Regulation 2005 (the Regulation) to the date on which a Department of Health policy directive was published in the Gazette. An incident of a type set out in the directive is prescribed by the Regulation as a reportable incident for the purpose of Division 6C (Root cause analysis teams) of Part 2 of the Health Administration Act 1982.

This Regulation is made under the Health Administration Act 1982, including the definition of reportable incident in section 20L, and section 34 (the general regulation-making power).

1 Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Health Administration Amendment (Reportable
Incident) Regulation 2006.

2 Amendment of Health Administration Regulation 2005

The Health Administration Regulation 2005 is amended as set out in
Schedule 1.

[1]      Clause 13 Reportable incident

Omit “the relevant date” from clause 13 (1).
Insert instead “23 December 2005”.

Omit the subclause.
