Regulation under the Health Administration Act 1982.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Health Administration Regulation 2015 to correct a reference to the affiliated health organisation, Mercy Hospitals NSW Ltd, for the purposes of provisions of the Health

Administration Act 1982 relating to the investigation of incidents by root cause analysis teams. The
affiliated health organisation is to appoint members to constitute the root cause analysis team when an
incident occurs that involves the organisation.

This Regulation is made under the Health Administration Act 1982, including paragraph (c) of the definition of relevant health services organisation in section 20L and section 34 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Health Administration Amendment (Relevant Health Services

Organisation) Regulation 2019.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.
