His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following

Regulation under the Health Administration Act 1982.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to update a reference to the NSW Maternal and Perinatal Committee, being a committee to which a person who is or was a member of a root cause analysis team may divulge or communicate certain information in connection with any research or investigation the committee is authorised to conduct. The committee is now called the NSW Maternal and Perinatal Mortality Review Committee.

This Regulation is made under the Health Administration Act 1982, including sections 20P (d) and 34 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Health Administration Amendment (Disclosure of
Information) Regulation 2014.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Health Administration Regulation 2010

Clause 14 Disclosure of information

Insert “Mortality Review” after “Perinatal” in clause 14 (1) (a) (iii).
