v

ST GEORGE BANK A DIVISION OF WESTPAC BANKING CORPORATION

A30/2018

HAYNES

v

WESTPAC BANKING CORPORATION

A31/2018

[2018] HCASL 348

  1. The applications for special leave do not raise any question that is suitable for the grant of special leave.  There is no reason to doubt the correctness of the decision of the Full Court of the Supreme Court of South Australia from which the applicant, in both applications, seeks leave to appeal.  Hence, it would be futile to grant the extension of time that is sought in relation to each application.  Special leave should be refused.

  2. Pursuant to r 41.08.1 of the High Court Rules 2004 (Cth), we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the applications.
