An Act to amend the Schedule to the Hay

Irrigation Act. [6th June, 1895.]

HEREAS it is desirable to exclude certain portions of the town

W Irrigation Act, and to amend the said Schedule in other respects : Be and suburban lands of Hay from the Schedule to the Hay
it therefore enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and
with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—
1. The Schedule to the Hay Irrigation Act is hereby repealed, and in place of the said Schedule the words and figures in the Schedule to this Act are hereby substituted.

2. This Act may be cited as the " Hay Irrigation Act Amend­

ment Act, 1895."

SCHEDULE.

County of Waradgery, parishes of Mungadal, Hay, Hay South, Waradgery, and Waradgery East. The Crown lands within the following boundaries : Commencing in the parish of Mungadal, at a point on the north boundary of portion number 21 of two hundred and fifty-two and a quarter acres due south from the south-east corner of portion number 34 ; and bounded thence by a line bearing north, part of which forms the east boundaries of portions 34, 35, and 3G to the south boundary of portion number G, parish of Mungadal aforesaid; thence by part of that south boundary bearing west to its extremity ; thence by the west boundary of the last-mentioned portion bearing north, and bj part of its north boundary bearing east to a point south from the south-east corner of portion number 5, same parish ; thence by a line bearing north, part of which forms the east boundary of the last-named portion and crossing the Murrumbidgee River to its right bank; thence by that bank of that river upwards to a south-eastern corner of the permanent common at Hay ; thence by the boundaries of that permanent common, in the parish of Hay, bearing respectively north, east, north, and west to the north-west corner of that common ; thence by a line northerly to the south-west corner of portion number 121 of one huridred and twenty acres, in the parish of Waradgery; thence by a west, a south, and another west boundary of that portion bearing north-west and again north to its north-west corner; thence by the north boundaries of portions 121, 122, and 123 bearing cast, and by part of the east boundary of the last-mentioned portion bearing south to a point west from the west extremity of the southernmost boundary of portion number 127; thence by a line and that southern­ most boundary bearing east; and by the north-eastern boundary of that portion bearing north-westerly to its extremity ; thence by a south boundary of the same portion and by a south boundary of portion 8 in the same parish bearing east to the south-western side of the main three-chain road from Hay to Booligal; thence by part of that side of that road bearing south-easterly to a point west from the north-west corner of portion 14G, in the parish of Hay : thence by a line east, part of which forms the north boun-

claries of portions 146, 144, 143, 142, 141, and 140, same parish, to the north-east corner of the last-mentioned portion; thence by a line north to the south boundary of portion 20, of three acres twenty-three perches, in the parish of Waradgery ; thence by part of that boundary, by the south boundaries of portions 25 and 24, same parish, and by the south boundary of portion 64, parish of Waradgery East, and a line in all bearing east to the north-west corner of portion 18, same parish ; thence by the west, south, and east boundaries of that portion bearing respectively south, east, and north to the south boundary of portion 2 1 ; thence by part of that boundary and by part of a south boundary of portion 44, same parish, bearing east to the north-west corner of portion number 39; thence by the west boundary of that portion bearing south and by its south boundary and a line bearing east to the west boundary of portion 38, parish of Waradgery East aforesaid; thence by a line southerly, part of which forms the western boundaries of portions 38, 35, and 10, same parish, and the western boundaries of portions 3/66 145, 47, 45, 48, and 49, parish of Hay South, to the north boundary of portion 57 ; thence by part of that boundary, a line and the north boundary of portion 58, same parish, bearing west to the east boundary of portion 37 ; thence by a line bearing north to its north-east corner ; thence by a line bearing west, part of which forms the north boundaries of portions numbers 37, 31, 1, and 10, parish of Hay South, and 33, 30, 29, 25, and part of the north boundary of portion 21 first-mentioned, in the parish of Mungadal aforesaid, to

to a point south from the south-east corner of portion 34, being the point of commence­ ment. Exclusive of the part, of the town and suburban lands of Hay, as proclaimed twentieth March one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five, within the following boundaries :—Commencing on the right bank of the Murrumbidgee River, at the south­ east corner of portion 41, parish of Hay, W. R. Randell and J . R. Scott's forty-three acres ; bounded thence by a line partly forming the east boundary of portions 41 afore­ said, 4G, and 47, northerly to the west prolongation of the north boundary of the Show Ground, portion 16; thence by that prolongation, the north boundary itself, and its easterly prolongation to the west boundary of allotment 7 of section 14 of the " Hay Irrigation Area, first subdivision," shown on plan catalogued Misc. 164, Hy . ; thence by that boundary southerly, and by the south-east boundaries of allotments 7 afore­ said, 4, 5, and 6 of the same section, and part of 4, section 10, north-easterly to the northerly prolongation of the west boundary of allotment 1 of section 9, all of the subdivision aforesaid; thence by that prolongation, the boundary itself, and its southerly prolongation to the north-west side of the South Western Railway Line; thence by that side of that railway line north-easterly to the north prolongation of the east side of Bourke-street; thence by that prolongation southerly to the north side of Murray-street; thence by that side of that street easterly to the east side of Bagot-street; thence by that side of that street southerly to the south side of Short-street; thence by the prolongation of the south side of Short-street, being a line partly forming the north boundaries of portions 117 and 124, easterly to the west boundary of portion 9, J. M'Evoy's 43 acres ; thence by a line partly forming the west boundaries of J. M'Evoy's portions 9, 10, and 11, and W. L. M'Echlin's portion 12 southerly to the north boundary of portion 13, T. Disher's twenty-eight and a half acres ; thence by part of that boundary westerly to the Murrumbidgee River ; thence by that river downwards to the south boundary of Reserve 11,040, for wharf, notified 22nd March, 1890 ; thence by the south, east, north, and west boundaries of that reserve easterly, northerly, westerly, and southerly to the Murrumbidgee River ; thence by that river downwards, to the point of commence­ ment. The town and suburban lands of Hay South, as notified fourth April, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, and nineteenth September, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, respectively ; police paddock, portion 12, parish of Hay South, area 172 acres ; an area five chains wide on each side of the marked line of canal, extending in a north-westerly direction from the western boundaries of N. Dooyan's portions 47 of fifty acres and 145 of one hundred and sixty and three-quarter acres, parish of Hay South, to the Murrumbigee River; Reserve 15,453 for recreation, notified ninth April, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two.
