10208 RELIGION.—SCHOOLS OF ARTS. Harrisville School of Arts Land Mortgage Act. 1 GEO. V., Application of proceeds of 4. WHEREAS Walter Brown, Robert Dunn, Frederick Hasemann, Bernard Mackay, and Charles Sealy are the registered proprietors in fee-simple, under " The Real Property Acts, 1861 to 1887,"* of certain parcels of land situated in the township of Harrisville, parish of * 25 Vic. Flinders, county of Churchill, being subdivisions three and four of resubdivision three of subdivision B of portion one hundred and seventy-six, containing one rood thirty-four and two-thirds perches, and which is more particularly described in Certificate of Title Number 1279u6, Volume 806, Folio 146, upon trust for a School of Arts: And whereas the said Trustees have erected upon the said lands a building containing a hall, reading-room, library, and other offices, and have used the same as a School of Arts, and it is now found necessary to enlarge and otherwise improve the said buildings and to provide additional furniture and• equipment for the same: And whereas it is expedient that the said Trustees should be empowered to mortgage the said lands, together with the buildings thereon, and to use the moneys arising from such mortgage for the aforesaid purposes: Be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, .as follows :- 1. This Act may be cited as " The Harrisville School Short title. of Arts Land Mortgage Act of 1910." 2. in this Act the expression "the Trustees" means interpreta. and includes the said Walter Brown, Robert Dunn, tion. The reasonable expenses of and attending such mortgage; (ii.) The costs of applying for, obtaining, and passing this Act; The cost of the enlargement and improvement of the said School of Arts buildings on the said lands; (iv.) The cost of the necessary furniture, fittings, and equipment of the said buildings. Trustees' 6.
