Case

[2024] HCASL 252

HARRIS & ORS

v

SECRETARY, DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING AND ENVIRONMENT

[2024] HCASL 252
S81/2024

  1. The applicants require an extension of time within which to seek special leave to appeal from a judgment of the Court of Criminal Appeal of New South Wales (N Adams J, Sweeney J and R A Hulme A-J) allowing an appeal from a judgment of the Land and Environment Court of New South Wales (Pain J).

  2. The application concerns a matter of practice and procedure. It does not raise any point of general importance and otherwise does not have sufficient prospects of success to warrant a grant of special leave. It would be therefore futile to grant the extension of time sought.

  3. Special leave to appeal is refused.
