2 Harbours (Thursday Island) Amendment (No. 1) No. 116, 1994 ˙ Short title 1. This by-law may be cited as the Harbours (Thursday Island) Amendment By-law (No. 1) 1994 . ˙ By-law amended 2. This by-law amends the Harbour of Thursday Island By-law 1988 . ˙ Replacement of s 1.1 (Short title) 3. Section 1.1— omit, insert— ˙ ‘Short title ‘1.1 This by-law may be cited as the Harbours (Thursday Island) By-law 1988 . ’. ˙ Amendment of s 6 (Tonnage rates) 4. Section 6.3— omit, insert— ‘6.3 In this by-law, a vessel occupies a berth while it is— (a) not moving, other than because of currents or waves; and (b) in a position that limits another vessel’s access to the berth. ’.
