Queensland Harbours Amendment Act 1993 Act No. 4 of 1993 An Act to amend the Harbours Act 1955 [Assented to 26 March 1993]

4 Harbours Amendment No. 4, 1993 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows. ˙ Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Harbours Amendment Act 1993 . ˙ Amended Act 2. The Harbours Act 1955 is amended as set out in this Act. ˙ Insertion of new s.184A 3. After section 184— insert— ˙ ‘Provision of facilities by other persons ‘184A. This Part does not prevent a person other than a harbour board or the Queensland Sugar Corporation from— (a) providing facilities for loading sugar in bulk; or (b) controlling, managing, operating and maintaining facilities for loading sugar in bulk; under arrangements entered into between the person and a harbour board if the arrangements have been approved by the Governor in Council. ’.
