[ASSEN'I.'ED TO 20TH DEOEMBER, 1905.] B E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows : - Short title. 1. This Act may be cited as "The Harbour Dues and Harbour Boards Acts Amendment Act of 1905." Oommence- 2. (3.) In section twenty-three of "The Rockhampton Harbou'r Board Act, 1895,"* in section twenty-four of" The PownsviUe Harbour Board Act, 1895,"t in section twenty of" The BundaberfJ Barbour Boa1"d Act, 1895, " ~ and in section twenty-one of "l)he JJ1.ackay Harbour Board Act, 189o,"§ the words "for exportation to a place or places beyond Queensland," are repealed, and the words" for carriage to a place or places beyond the limits of the harbour" a.re respectively inserted in lieu thereof. {4.) The following amendments are made in the Schedule to " The Harbour IJues Act of 1893 "11 :- In the first paragraph relating to Travellers' Samples, all wor:ds from and including "from beyond the Colony" to the end of the paragraph are repealed, and the second paragraph relating to the same goods is also repealed. In the heading to column A, the words "beyond • Queensland" are repealed, and the words "beyond the Harbour" are inserted in lieu thereof. In the heading to column B, the words "for exportation to a place beyond Queensland" are repealed, and the words "for carriage· to a place beyond the Harbour:> are inserted in lieu thereof. Column C is repealed. The heading to column D is repealed, and the words . ~ , Upon all Goods brought by sea and immediately tran- shipped within the Harbour for carriage to some other port" are inserted in lieu thereof. In the said column, the words" imported and" are repealed. In the note at the end of the Schedule, all the words after " one penny" are repealed. (5.)
