Hairdressers' Registration Repeal Act 2002

An Act to repeal the Hairdressers' Registration Act 1975

[Royal Assent 25 June 2002]

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

1Short titleThis Act may be cited as the Hairdressers’ Registration Repeal Act 2002 . 2CommencementThis Act is taken to have commenced on 1 June 2002. 3Hairdressers' Registration Act 1975 repealed (1)  The Hairdressers’ Registration Act 1975 is repealed. (2)  The Hairdressers’ Registration Advisory Board is abolished. 4Expiration of ActThis Act expires on 1 January 2003. 5Administration of ActUntil provision is made in relation to this Act by order under section 4 of the Administrative Arrangements Act 1990  – (a) the administration of this Act is assigned to the Minister for Infrastructure, Energy and Resources; and (b) the department responsible to the Minister for Infrastructure, Energy and Resources in relation to the administration of this Act is the Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources.
