V
MINISTER FOR IMMIGRATION, CITIZENSHIP AND MULTICULTURAL AFFAIRS & ANOR
[2023] HCASL 117
P9/2023
The applicant seeks special leave to appeal from a decision of the Full Court of the Federal Court of Australia (Jackson, Abraham and Feutrill JJ) dismissing an appeal from a decision of the primary judge (Colvin J) refusing to grant constitutional writ relief against a decision of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, by which it affirmed a decision of a delegate of the first respondent not to grant the applicant a protection visa under the Migration Act 1958 (Cth).
The application raises no question of general principle and there is no reason to doubt the correctness of the Full Federal Court's decision. The application should be refused, and it would be futile to grant the extension of time sought.
Pursuant to r 41.08.1 of the High Court Rules 2004 (Cth), we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application.
