An Act to amend and continue for a limited t ime the Act of Council nine Victoria number six regulat ing the Exportat ion of Gunpowder and Warl ike Stores. [19th Sep­ tember, 1853.]

W H E R E A S an Act was passed by the Governor and Legislative
Council of New South Wales in the ninth year of Her
Majesty's reign intituled " An Act to regulate for a limited time the
" Exportation of Gunpowder and, Warlike Stores from the Colony of
" New South Wales " which Act was continued from time to time
until the thirty-first day of December now next ensuing by certain
other Acts passed in the eleventh thirteenth and fifteenth years of
Her Majesty's reign And whereas it is expedient to amend and
continue the said first recited Act for a further limited time Be it
therefore enacted by His Excellency the Governor of New South

Wales with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof

as follows:—
1. The said first recited Act passed in the ninth year of Her Majesty's reign shall be and is hereby continued in force until the thirty-first day of December in the year one thousand eight hundred and fifty-five subject nevertheless to the provision next following.

2. The provisions of the Act hereby continued shall extend and apply only to such Gunpowder or Warlike Stores and to such vessels as may be shipped or cleared out for the Colony of New Zealand anything in the said Act to the contrary notwithstanding.
