GUN LICENCE

An Ordinance to amend the Gun Licence Ordinance

1937-1966.

1.—(1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Gun Licence Ordin­

ance 1970.*
(2.) The Gun Licence Ordinance 1937-1966,f as amended by
this Ordinance, may be cited as the Gun Licence Ordinance 1937-1970.

2. Section 8 of the Gun Licence Ordinance 1937-1966 is amended by omitting paragraph (b) of sub-section (1.) and inserting in its stead the following paragraph:—

"(b) a statement in writing signed by himself and a Magistrate or a justice of the peace that he is, by virtue of section 5 of this Ordinance, a person entitled to use or carry, or have in his possession, a gun or pistol without a gun licence or pistol licence, as the case may be.".
