s1 2 s6 Guardianship and Administration Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2002 No. 3, 2002 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Guardianship and Administration Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2002 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the GuardianshipandAdministrationRegulation 2000. 3 Amendment of s 7 (Prescribed equivalent provisions) Section 7, ‘the schedule’— omit, insert— ‘schedule 1’. 4 Insertion of new s 8 After section 7— insert— ‘8 Prescribed visitable sites ‘The places specified in schedule 2 are prescribed as visitable sites for the Act, section 222. 1 ’. 5 Amendment of schedule (Equivalent provisions) Schedule, heading, ‘SCHEDULE’— omit, insert— ‘SCHEDULE 1’. 6 Insertion of new sch 2 After schedule 1— insert— 1 The Act, section 222 (Definitions for ch 10), definition “visitable site”.

s6 3 s6 Guardianship and Administration Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2002 No. 3, 2002 ‘SCHEDULE 2 ‘VISITABLE SITES section 8 A place, other than a private dwelling house, that is any of the following— (a) a place where a consumer lives that is wholly or partly funded by— (i) Disability Services Queensland, or (ii) the Department of Health; (b) a place where a consumer— (i) lives; and (ii) receives services from— (A) Disability Services Queensland; or (B) an entity that receives financial assistance from Disability Services Queensland or the Department of Health to supply the service; (c) for a consumer with a mental or intellectual impairment—a place, other than an aged care facility, where the consumer— (i) lives; and (ii) receives services from the Department of Health; (d) a place declared to be an authorised mental health service under the MentalHealthAct2000, section 495, 2 where a consumer receives services as an inpatient.’. 2 MentalHealthAct2000, section 495 (Declaration of authorised mental health services)
