Regulation under the Guardianship Act 1987.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Guardianship Regulation 2016 to update references to
corresponding laws of the Northern Territory.

This Regulation is made under the Guardianship Act 1987, including sections 48A (the definition of

corresponding law) and 108 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Guardianship Amendment (Corresponding Laws) Regulation
2018.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Guardianship Regulation 2016

Clause 16 Corresponding laws

Omit clause 16 (c) and (d). Insert instead:

(c) Guardianship of Adults Act of the Northern Territory,
